Mark continues playing the phrases from the verse section in this pattern: ACBB Then Gavin really works a single A on the 1st string for a while, finally sliding up on a volume swell towards the end of the section.Į|-5-|-|-|-| This is as close as I've gotten without actually sitting in front of a piano and figuring it out.ī|-12-|-| The chords he is playing are Bm, D, and G. Mark is playing three distinct phrases throughout, all with heavy delay and what I think is a phase effect.Į|-2-|-|ī|-3-|-| It's hard to define a time signature here, so listen to the recording for timing. It is, however, a great way to introduce a bit of calm after a really energetic piece. Whether or not it continues to be developed, I do not know. Since its recording on Catch Without Arms, the lick has evolved into more of a song. So far as studio recordings go, the main lick from this song originally on the Waterborne soundtrack and then appeared on the Catch Without Arms CD, at the end of Matroshka. This is a beautiful, meditative piece from Dredg. For those playing this piece, consider this tab my better work. I must have been high or something when last I compiled this tab.
